A team of researchers from Morocco looked at the antibacterial activity of Artemisia ifranensis, a species in the genus Artemisia that grows wild in the Middle Atlas in Morocco. The team published their findings in the Journal of Essential Oil Research.
Based on these findings, the research team concluded that A. ifranensis essential oil has strong antibacterial activity against S. aureus.
