A recently published study from Sweden’s Karolinska Institute confirms that biological males are stronger than women — and no amount of “chemical castration” is going to change that. Female athletes have been given the middle finger by “pc culture” and social justice warriors, in a vain attempt at pushing their so-called inclusion agenda. But once again, science confirms reality — and further proves that the radical Left cares more about appearances than actual equality.
According to the research, trans women (biological men) retain physical advantages over biological women up to at least one year of beginning hormone therapy. This news has shattered the Left’s vision of a globalist, unisex dystopia.
As Breitbart reports, recently published research from the Karolinska Institute confirms that trans women retain many of the physical benefits produced by testosterone. The institute teamed up with Linkoping University, a college in Sweden, to conduct their study comparing and contrasting the effects hormone therapy has on muscle size and strength in trans men and women.
The team found that even after a full year of hormone therapy, trans women (biological males) had bigger, stronger muscles compared to trans men (biological females).
“Despite the robust increases in muscle mass and strength in TM, the TW were still stronger and had more muscle mass following 12 months of treatment. These findings add new knowledge that could be relevant when evaluating transwomen’s eligibility to compete in the women’s category of athletic competitions,” the researchers write.
This finding is particularly telling, because the trans men were actually on testosterone for a full year — and even then, they still couldn’t compete with a biological male undergoing chemical castration.
Earlier this year, research published in the Journal of Medical Ethics also confirms that biological men competing as women have an unfair advantage in women’s sports. As Daily Caller reported, the paper ultimately found testosterone suppression is not enough to level the playing field between biological men and women; men have natural advantages over women that science can’t eliminate with drugs.
The authors argue further that there is “very little evidence” to support the liberals’ belief that hormone therapy will “mitigate” the advantages trans women have over biological women.
What this all really shows is that no amount of drugs can completely change your biology. Trans women are still stronger and have bigger muscles than trans men — because they were born men. Trans men are smaller and less strong because they were born women.
The whiny, intolerant Left has yet to learn that how you feel about something will not change the reality of it. It may not feel good for transgender women to acknowledge that they were born men, but it is necessary in order to reach true compromise. Trans people do not get to dictate the way of the world just because they’re a minority; there are substantial safety concerns involved with allowing biological males to compete against women — especially in contact sports such as MMA or wrestling.
In 2018, male-to-female MMA fighter Fallon Fox broke the skull of her biologically female opponent, Tamika Brents. How’s that for fairness and equality? A biological man beat up a woman on television — and people paid to see it.
Regardless of your views on trans rights, the fact of the matter is that trans women (biological men) have an unfair advantage when competing in women’s sports. While transgender women may feel it is unfair for them to be banned from competing with biological women, denying the fact that being born male puts them at an extreme advantage is completely out of touch with reality.
