A key Biden regime advisor has been sanctioned by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) after it was discovered that she violated its ethics policies.
Jane Lubchenco, the deputy director for climate and environment at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, reportedly edited a published paper that was later found to contain prolific technical errors. She also worked directly with the scientists involved, one of which is her brother-in-law.
For the next five years, Lubchenco is barred from the NAS for research misconduct. Her shady behavior in the realm of climate “science” has called into question the validity of many other studies and projects she has worked on or contributed to over the years.
“Now, how many studies and projects cited her work, justifying more grants, and drove policies???” asked one concerned person on Twitter. (Related: Many of Biden’s other appointees are guilty of trans obsession and have a pedophilic penchant for sexually mutilating children.)
Lubchenco reportedly violated NAS Code of Conduct Section 3, which states that “NAS members shall avoid those detrimental research practices that are clear violations of the fundamental tenets of research.”
“Members should be fair and objective peer reviewers, maintain confidentiality when requested, promptly move to correct the literature when errors in their own work are detected, include all deserving authors on publications, and give appropriate credit to prior work in citations,” that section further reads.
In response to her sanctioning, Lubchenco stated that she accepts them, calling it an “error in judgment” on her part “in editing a paper authored by some of my research collaborators – an error for which I have publicly stated my regret.”
Lubchenco’s miscarriage of science is so much of a concern that three GOP representatives – Frank Lucas of Oklahoma, Stephanie Bice also of Oklahoma and Jay Obernolte of California – co-wrote an open letter back in February calling on the White House to “consider whether Dr. Lubchenco’s leading role in the Administration’s scientific integrity efforts undermines public confidence in future policy decisions.”
“As an editor at the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Dr. Lubchenco demonstrated a clear disregard for rules meant to prevent conflicts of interest in publishing peer-reviewed studies,” that letter goes on to state.
“Now, Dr. Lubchenco is playing a leading role in developing and overseeing this Administration’s best practices for scientific integrity. Her violation of one of the core tenets of scientific integrity makes her current leadership role very troubling.”
Amid all the controversy, Lubchenco is still in her role and tweeting away on Twitter about the “transition” to so-called “green” energy that she and the Biden regime are pushing in order to address “global warming” and “climate change.”
“It was a long time coming,” she bragged on August 12 about the Biden regime’s passing of “[o]ur biggest climate investment ever,” to quote White House National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy. “Now we can get even more accomplished.”
The level of corruption that saturates the Biden regime is simply unprecedented. There is just no way that 80 million Americans supposedly voted to install this trainwreck of a presidency.
“After climate scientists at the University of Kent and others were caught falsifying historical climate data to make it appear as if there had never been warmer temperatures in the past, nothing happened to them,” wrote a commenter at Infowars about how institutionalized climate fraud typically goes unpunished.
“They were working in concert with NOAA, which is an American scientific agency who was also caught deleting historical climate data and replacing it with false data in 2015. The media and governments did everything they could to cover it up and make the story go away. Their data was used by the UN and leaders like Obama to push the Paris Climate Accord.”
